Reclaim your Fabulousness! is the book I needed when I emerged from treatment and was told to go back to my life. I didn't know how... because I had been through so much and felt so broken. ~Nic

confused and lost on the inside. 

Over the years since my diagnosis, I've struggled to maintain my feeling of "me" that I felt was lost during the two years I was being treated for this disease. I was thrust into a world that I didn't know, with language that I didn't always understand and a lot of very frightening medications, surgeries, and treatments... all to save my life.

I went from a relatively happy-go-lucky girl looking for love and searching for the courage to write... to a very sick young woman who lost the ability to have children, lost a breast, lost some hair, lost a relationship...

I lost ME somewhere along the way.

The medical team treated the breast cancer and then said "Good luck with the rest of your life". But I had no idea who I was anymore, or what I had been fighting against this disease for. I was alive... but I had no idea who I was.

In the years since I learned that my cancer was in remission, I found the courage to rebuild my own spirit. I tell people often that being diagnosed with breast cancer was the most devastating heartbreak I have ever experienced. We all know how difficult it can be to get over a broken heart. But, eventually... I did it. And I believe that you can too.

This book, Reclaim Your Fabulousness! outlines the steps that I took to get back to who I was and who I wanted to be. Everything in this book was something that I actually did for myself to get to where I am today... a confident, excited-about-my-life-again, breast cancer survivor.



The work is simple but not easy. You have to face those walls in your life that you've erected to keep yourself safe. And you've got to do the work of facing yourself in the mirror.

*I wrote this book with breast cancer survivors in mind, however, I have had many people who are not breast cancer survivors tell me that they too gained a lot of insight from this book.
